JULY 25 - 26 sees the return of THE BLUES FESTIVAL, now called Wild Boar Blues
With the ‘Blues Band of the Year' for 2nd year running..... BABAJACK headlining the Saturday, and with a special appearance from the ALARM guitarist and now bluesman, Dave Sharp. His 15 years living in New Orleans – playing and recording as a sessionplayer on the blues circuit has developed his successful career beyond the punk days of the Alarm to this accomplished, gritty, blues artist that is always in demand.

BABAJACK – a band who is fast becoming one of the most sought after acts on the UK and European gig and Festival circuits! Their unique blend of roots/blues/folk fusion described by Classic Rock magazine as “an intoxicating brew of blues, folk and roots music” make for a scintillating show combining great musicianship, passion and energy that is guaranteed to wow any audience.
Over 12 artists / bands on the weekend,
Sicknote Steve plays his one man show Saturday afternoon and Pat Grover and his boogie woogie blues band play Saturday Evening, as does the seasoned pro bluesmen from Cardiff going under a suedo name Mellow Down Easy , for the first time.
Lots more music and fireside sessions to see. Including Mr H from mid Wales and the blistering guitar of Luke Doherty and his Band play Friday evening.
Swansea and Gower five piece ELECTRIC REVELATORS' have the REVELLETES backing them, with very special guests on Saturday to be announced on the day.
The former rail line RUNS FROM The Berrington hill Cwmtwrch to Cwmllynfell, the transformation over 5 years is amazing. All powered by solar and the real ale barn is made from the wood
of the felled trees. An outdoor earth stage, huge big lodge tipi and Chinese marquees make this a delightful riverside walk as well as a camping site. Well worth a day out.
We have 2 TAXI companies willing to do 8 seater return deals to the Site .
